Saratha's Herb Shop The smell of many herbs and flowers surround any who enter the small shop. Shelves line the walls to the left and right against the walls, so the many windows lining the walls expose sunlight to the potted plants on the shelves. Theres a table in the center of the room. On the table are many small pouches that are labeled with many herb and flower names. The sign on the table simply states 'Seeds'. A desk stands about five feet behind the center table, and on the desk sits a green leather bound book with a note on it. To the left is a broom which is to keep things tidy, and to the right is a door with a sign that says; Shop owners only. Contents: Kaelye Saratha Kerr Obvious exits: Up leads to Saratha's Room. Out leads to Winter's Avenue. Kerr ndos to Saratha as he comes into the shoppe, and looks around at the pretty and smelly flowqerss. He wrinkles his nose, a little, at the overwhelming smell, so overly different from the foul stench of the swamp. He asks "do you do floral arrangements, also?" Saratha smiles at the man and chuckles lightly, "I do sir.. I run this shop on my own." She then looks at his feet and the muddied footprints, "I'll have to sweep pleanty tonight.. oh well!" Opening the door to the shop quickly, and closing it again just as quickly, a tall half-aelf enters the herb shop, wet hair plastered to his forehead. Shaking himself a bit to unstick the damp clothing that sticks to him, he glances around the shop, nodding in a familar way to Saratha, then turning a curious, and perhaps suspisious gaze, upon the Sephnil that has ventured into the shop. Kerr looks down at his dirty, unclothed shoes, and lowers his head a little. "I'm sorry for dirtying your shoppe" he says humbly. Saratha smiles "It's only dirt! And this store has seen more of it than just what's on your feet.." Then turns her head toward the door, "Hello again.. Jerric I belive?" Jerric nods his head absently to Saratha's question, still focused on the sephnil. Glancing over the gaint lizard, he says to Kerr, "You are of Saragnoss, are you not? You have a warrior look to you.. The Veritnoss tend to have a more peaceful image about them.." He speaks evenly, without any hint to his feelings concerning the two sephnil tribes. Kerr smiles, and reaises his head. pose noids, and says "Aye, I am a Saragnoss...I am the fletcher. I just made Sssra's fine bow. Your jewler, Maia, jeweled it. Sssra was pleased with it." He seems happy with himself for having made that good of a bow, and obviously is proud. Saratha smiles, "A jewled bow? I've never seen one of those before.." Kerr nods..."I wanted Sssra's bow to be special...she is my ruler, you know..." He looks around the shop some more, and rubs his nose, to get the...interesting....smell out. Nodding slightly, the half-aelf says, "A jeweled bow, er? This Sssra must be pretty important. But I won't claim to know the workings of Sephnil politics." Turning to Saratha once more, he offers her a slight bow, "Greetings, m'lady. If you'll recall the herb I requested last I was here, I am in need of more of it." Kerr turns suddenly, heading for the door to escape the smell of all the flowers. Saratha nods to Jerric, and then begins looking through her table, "Geeting into trouble young sir?" she then chuckles lightly. The door of the shop opens and a coughing maiden enters. Her cloak is wrapped about her, and her hood covers her face. The lady's skirts, however, are very visible, as she rushes inward. The storm rages outside, and by the looks of her drenched cloak, she felt quite a bit of that wrath. *ACHOO*! A sneeze racks the body of the girl, and she's barely fast enough to put a handkerchief before her face. An uncomfortable groan, though quiet, ensues promptly, and it is easy to tell that she is not in the best of health. Turning from the counter, and away from Saratha, who turns to go about her own business, Jerric takes a step towards Kaelye, and gives her a slightly bow. "Greetings, Kaelye. Out for a trip in the rain as well?" Another sneeze racks her little body and Kaelye looks up at Jerric, removing her hood and pulling her hair down her shoulder. "Ugh.. would that I weren't.." she grumbles, miserably. "For what reason would you be out in this unforgiving weather, Jerric?" She asks, tilting her congested head, slightly, to study the man before her. Jerric grins slightly, nodding his head to where Saratha is busy in the back of her shop, "I had a few goods I needed to pick up, for my adventures, you understand." Taking Kaelye's rain soaked cloak from her, Jerrik says, "And your reason for being in this 'unforgiving' weather?" Kaelye eyes the man a moment longer, then nods. "Oh, indeed I do.." she says, quietly. "Surely you do not leave soon? For anywhere you could go would be.. as wet as here, right?" the woman asks. "I need a few herbs to uncongest my head," the girl says with a chuckle. Jerric chuckles for a moment, and says, "I believe she's a bit busy now, but if you'll give me the names of what you'll need, I'll get it to you once it is ready to go." He takes a seat on a small stool that sits by one of the shelves. "You have a nice cold, do you?" "A nice one, indeed," Kaelye chuckles. "Well.. do you know if she has any cherrytree bark?" The woman steps closer to Jerric, and clasps her hands behind her back. Jerric nods his head, the glances over the shelves just behind him, "Indeed, it is one of the things I myself came here to gain possession of. A useful bit of vegetation, er?" Standing up as quickly as he sat down, he leans against the shelves, a puddle forming under him, "She should have enough for you." Kaelye grins, "I should hope she has enough, in this weather.. I fear I am not the only one that has submitted to its powers." She smiles and then follows him over. "Will you be travelling long?" she asks. Jerric chuckles slightly, with no sign of a cold about his own person. "Travel long, hrms. Perhaps. I doubt I will though, I usually return fairly quickly. What use is knowledge or treasures from my travels if I can not share the tale or sell the booty?" He grins at her. Kaelye laughs, "Indeed. Agreed..." she smiles and then pauses, looking reminiscent. "Well.. perhaps you might come past my shop when you return? And we'll discuss both tales and the selling of objects, should an object of yours catch my interest?" Jerric nods his head, "Indeed a will." He glances out the shops front windows and at the extremely dark night. "But I think you should be getting back to your home Kaelye. The night is dark, and in the dark there is danger." Moving towards the door to leave, himself, he turns back. "I will accompany you, if you wish." Kaelye watches him a moment, then nods, "Indeed, that would be appreciated." She pauses for another sneeze, then chuckles at herself. "Shall we, Jerric?" She asks, turning towards the door. The woman takes her cherry bark, pays for it by laying it upon the counter, and then makes for the exit, smiling back at the man.
