The chamber is entirely still, not even a wind blows through. Silence... dark... stillness... Something moves from the far back of the room. Creeping forward. The eerie sound of floorboards creeking progressively closer to the front seem to further emphasise the nothingness that is the chamber. Some light filters in from the moon, through a hole in one of the curtains. Soft rays outline the show case that covers half of the room in it's odd U shape. The creekings stop. In moments, a foot is visible in that single ray. Delicate toes are visible. Then an ankle. Then the bottoms of a nightgown. As the person moves forward, her identity becomes more and more clear. A yawn escapes her and Kaelye stretches slightly, then sleepily glances about her beloved shoppe. Why did she awaken, she wonders, her eyes narrow and brows furrowed. Was it a dream? Did she hear something? Down the center of the street is a strip of dirt where young oaks have been planted with extreme care, and under them green grass. This section of the street is one of the richer markets. Here there can be found stores selling expensive silk products, even more aelven wares. One shop in particular has done well, as can be seen by the expensive materials it is built from. Plaza of Linas - Linas(#3224RntAF) This is the Plaza of Linas, the grandest plaza in the city. The plaza is surrounded on all sides by tall buildings of gleaming marble and shining blue roof tiles. In the very center of the plaza a great fountain sprays water high into the air, only to come crashing back down into the great basin around it. Stalls like the edges of the Plaza, some even set up inside the plaza, turning it into a bazaar almost. Merchants have parked their wagons to sell their goods to the people, and the people have stopped their gossip to buy. All streets come to the Plaza, in the end. To the northeast the Palace Gates can be seen, guarding the Palace of the Council, where the Lords and Ladies of Linas rule the nation. Streets sprout off of the plaza, going south, east and west, and northwest, spreading out to reach the four city gates. Glass cases line the walls and make a squarish "U" shape and within them, rest golden, silver, and gemmed jewels. They gleam warmly and most welcomingly. The more golden jewelry lies on the left side of the entering person, while the right side is the silver jewels. The front of the U, which the patron would be facing upon entering, is possessing of the gemmed jewels. The cases are far enough from the wall, that a worker might stand behind them, and on the ends of each U, is a half-door, reaching roughly to the average person's waist. Hidden in plain view, though, are relics just as precious as the jewels: antiques of more ancient times. Jars, vases, paintings. Almost better taken care of than the main selling item of the shoppe. Both are for sale in this shoppe, warmed by a fire in the fireplace, with white walls and wooden floors. THe occasionally chair rests against a wall, welcoming patrons to sit and rest themselves.
