Got new photos of Zoe up. You can find them in the Sept05-2 folder. Included are playing with the cat wearing no clothes, sleeping in the floor, trying to grab the cat, eating some noodle lunch and making a mess, some pictures of Katie, Zoe in the car with the window down, and eating hamburgers down at my parent’s house.

Also, #2 has been named. He’ll arrive sometime around April, and he shall bear the name Nathaniel Isaac McKoy.

Pictures of Zoe taken with the new camera (At 1megapixel this time) are up under the August folder. I think I’m going to knock the quality down to VGA, the resolution and size on these images are more than I need for mass baby photos.

We finally got our new digital camera. After weeks of waiting to buy it one way, we grabbed a refurbished one off Ebay for about $100 less than it retails for. Its an HP R707, normally around $250+ in the big retail stores. 5.1 megapixel with a built-in 32meg memory card, as well as a slot for more memory. Rechargable battery, USB connection for uploading. Not a scratch on it, looks and works like new.

Katie took some test photos with it, which you’ll find under Zoe’s directory in the photo album. She had the camera set to 5mp so the resolution is huge. I’ve set the camera to 1mp now, as that should be all we need and will let us fit 52 pictures instead of 18 on the internal memory.

Well, mostly done with the site theme now. Just some tweaks over time to the CSS but I’m mostly happy, looks a lot like the old site but its different and looks a ton better overall.

Well. I’ve changed the site up quite a bit. The old custom-made-but-static-content ferretbox is gone. Enter the new flashy, highly customizable, fun to play with, WordPress ferretbox.

So far I’ve gotten a look at all the options and played a little bit with the plugin system. As a result, my photo album has already returned and is integrated. You can find a link in the sidebar under Links. Works just like before, but the URL is a little bit different.

I believe I’ve got all the old site links and stuff added back as well. Soon I’ll have the site re-skinned to look like, well, whatever I come up with.
